1.    Write a summary of the story. Discuss your book’s setting, plot, theme (s), and other details you found interesting.    There is this girl and she comes back from spring break and finds out her teacher is missing and her class gets a new teacher. Later in the story she follows him home and finds out he is an Alien. At the end of this book her friend Peter goes with the Alien to outer space. Now this book takes place at a school where Susan, the girl, and Peter go. The most interesting part in the story to me is Peter was against the Alien at the beginning and at the end he wants to go with the Alien to space.

2.    Describe the “traits of the main character. What is his/her/its name? Where is he/she/it from? What are his/her/its skills, talents, physical features?   The main characters were a girl named Susan, a boy named Peter, and an Alien when he is a human named Mr. Smith while he is an Alien his name is Broxlhom. Susan is good at playing the piccolo, Peter loves to read science fiction books, and Broxlhom was a human teacher.

3.    What internal motives (thoughts and feelings) and external motives (events or actions) determine the character’s decisions and affect on the plot?    Susan’s internal motives are she thinks she is going to get kidnapped by Broxlhom, her external motives are she is trying to unmask Broxlhom. Peters internal motives are is he wants to go to outer space with Broxlhom his external motives are he helps Broxlhom escape out of the school. Now last Broxlhom’s internal motives are how is that he going to get Susan not to think he is an Alien his external motives are is he is a sixth grade teacher.

4.      Think about the types of conflict (struggles between opposing forces) that the character faced, how conflicts and decisions drove the action, and how responses to conflict in the story contributed to its resolution. Describe how the character struggled against an outside force, such as another person or element of nature?       Susan’s conflict is she had to face Broxlhom and try to get him off Earth. Peter’s conflict is he is trying to help Broxlhom so he can go to space with him. Broxlhom’s conflict is he is trying to be nice to Susan, but she is mean to him.

5.       Describe how the character struggled within him/her to make a choice, take an action, or overcome a feeling (internal conflict).      Susan has to overcome her fear of Broxlhom. Peter has to overcome would he rather be in space or on Earth. Broxlhom has to overcome his fear of leaving Earth.

My book report on: Animorphs, The Reunion

Write a summary of the story in the space below. Discuss your book's setting, plot, theme(s), and other details you foud interesting.

The story starts out with the main character, Marco, havin a bad dream. Marco is an animorph, or a human that can change into any animal or another human. He and the other animorphs are fighting against the Yeerks. Yeerks are little slug like creatures that crawl into you through your ear canal. Once they are in, they control every part of you. As I said earlier, Marco is having a bad dream about his mom. His mom died years ago in a boating accident. For some reason she took a boat ride in the middle of the night and never came back. But the next morning Marco discovers that his mom is still very well alive but is being controlled by Visser One. Marco has a plan. His plan is to lure his two mortal enemies, Visser one and Visser three, to the same place to kill them both. He leads them both up to a mountain top and war starts. Visser one (Marco's mom) is fighting for balance on the edge of a cliff. Marco tries to save her but he an't and his mom dies, again.

Describe the traits of the main character. What is his/her/its name? Where is he/she/it from? What are his/her/its skills, talents, abilities, phisical features, etc.?

The main character in this book is Marco. Marco is an animorph. Animorphs are people that can change from a human to any animal or person. Marco has five good friends, Jake, Cassie, Rachel, Ax, and Tobias. Marco's ultimate goal is to save the world from Yeerks.

What internal motives (thoughts and feelings) and external motives (events or actions) determine the characters decisions and affect the plot?

Marco has lain out a plan of a series of events to defeat the opposing forces. (Visser one and Visser three) But Visser one is controlling his mom right now (who before was thought to be dead.) so if Visser one dies, Marco's mom dies. Everyone is expecting Marco to have a tought time with this but he pretends that he isn't  but he really is.

Think about the types of conflict (struggles between opposing forces) that the character faced, how conflicts snd decisions drove the action, and how responses to conflict in the story contributed to its resolution. Describe how the character struggled against an outside force, such as another person or an element of nature( externbal conflict).

Marco struggles against Visser one and Visser three. He has to alter his plans and change things because he thought Visser three killed Jake and Cassie so he had to play the part of Jake.

Describe how the character struggled within him/her to make a choice, take an action, or overcome a feeling (internal conflict).

Marco struggled to make a choice about killing Viiser one because she was controlling his  mom. He wants his mom back, but Visser one is the enemy and the only way to kill Visser one is to kill his mom.

The supernaturalist takes place in the future in Satellite City. An orphan named Cosmo Hill lives in an Institute called Clarissa Frayne. He and other orphans(or no-sponsors) are being used in experiments and suffer everyday in pain and agony. Knowing that if he stays any longer, Cosmo and his friend, Ziplock, will die eventually. So when an accident occurs, they run away in the midst of it. Since they each wear a tracking device, the marshal, Redwood, tracks them down and corners them at a rooftop not so far away. Ziplock, being as crazy as he is, jumped from the rooftop, taking Cosmo along with him. Hi didn't die of falling thoguh. Ziplock got electricuted from his broken tacking device. Cosmo, on the other hand, laid on the ground with multiple severe injuries and a few broken bones. Then he begins seeing blue creatures swarming around him. When one landed on his chest, a teenager named Stefan shot it before it began sucking his life out. Cosmo notices two other people with himn; a latina girl around his age and a baby( which later turned put to be 28, his appearance was due to a failed experiment.) Although the three wanted to leave Cosmo there because he was dying, he begs them not to and explains what he saw about the "blue creatures". Stefan calls them parasites and once he had learned of this, he decided to take the dying bot with him since he wqas a spotter, someone who can see parasites like them. When Cosmo gets fixed up in their headquarters, Mona, the latina girl, explains what the parasites are and how they only-come out in neard death experiences and suck the life out of people, and what she, Stefan, and Ditto (the "Bartoli baby") do. They're called The Supernaturalists and it's their secret job to take out any parasites they see. At first, the team didn't accept Cosmo, but after saving Mona's life from a poison dart, they start to warm up tp eachother. During the book, they all face dangers and find secrets, such as when they shoot the parasites with their ; lighting rods, it only makes them multiply and that the blue creatures don't actually kill people, they only take their pain away so it makes their death less suffering. Near the end, stefan ends up learning the truth and he dies due to a gun shot. Although melancholy, Mona, Cosmo, and Ditto decide to continue their jobs since there's much more than parasites out there. They knew that the late Stefan would want that.

Describe the "traits" of the main character. What is his/her/its name? Where is she/he/it from? What are his/her/its skills, talenys, abilities, physical features, etc.?

The main character is named Cosmo Hill. He has special abilities called "spotting" seeing something that the others can't. Because he lived in an orphanage his whole life, Cosmo can't help but stutter when he talks to the girl he likes; MOna.Although he has a naive soul, Cosmo is very kind-hearted and won't think of leaving a comrade behind.

What internal motives (thoughts and feelings) and external motives (events or actions) determine the character's decision and affect on the plot.

Cosmo's internal motives makes his action rather reckless, once so much that Stefan was put in a dangerous state. His external motives affect the plot by when he decides to become helpful in situations and help out the team. Although at some points, he may just do nothing at all because his internal motives pursuade him not to.

Think about the types of conflicts taht the character faced, how conflicts and decisions drove the action, and how responses to conflict in the story contirbuted to its resolution. Describe how the character struggled against an outside foorce, such as another person or element of nature.

When Cosmo saw Stefan laying on the ground 20 feet below with blood staining his shirt, I assumed that he would jump down and save him. But Ditto foresaw the opposing forces coming and told Cosmo that they need to leave Stefan. Although it pained him grievely and knew that arguing was no use, Cosmo litened to Ditto and ran away.

Describe how the character struggled within him/her to make a choice, take an action, or overcome a feeling.

At the beginning of the book, Cosmo fought with himself on whether he should leave Clarissa Frayne or not, despite the consequences and pain he;s going to recieve if he gets caught on the outside of the institute. Thinking about how much his life was miserableand how he wanted to be free, Cosmo made the choice of escaping his orphan life.
