Projects/tasks that I currently could use parent help:

Consistent help needed:
I'd like to deputize some parents with blog accounts to provide constructive commentary and criticism of student blog posts in the area of writing. You'd need to have access to a computer with internet. You also would have to be quite comfortable with editing grammar/spelling and giving feedback on student writing.
4th grade has a copy box in the teacher material prep room. If you have been trained on the copiers (or would like to be), feel free to drop by the office anytime and check the box for general copying that I/we might need to have done.
I'd like to put together a group of parents who would be willing to meet about twice a month, usually on Thursdays, with students during Writer's Workshop. They will circulate and help students with revising/editing their writing projects. These parents will be seeing our MyAccess program up-close-and-personal in order to help students understand the recommendations/grammar feedback that the program provides.
I'm also looking for a parent or two who would be willing to drop by in the afternoon, after lunch. We have a period of time for silent reading that would be ideal for pulling a few students who need to work with math fact flash cards once or twice a week to help cement those facts.
