We already talked about the difference between editing and revising. Before we edit, we revise first because there's no point in editing something that might not make it into our final draft. When we do edit, we can offer our friends help by offering advice. You can do that with a comment, and I recommend you copy and paste the piece of text from his or her story that you have advice about. You can use the strange looking font button with the line through it to show something that you might remove. It looks like: ABC

For adding something, put it in parentheses () so the original poster (also known as the OP) knows what you are suggesting.

Here's how I might offer editing advice:

[I went camping for a whole week at Leo Cario.We did a bunch of thing(s) I (have)never done before.Well(,) the first day(,) we went straight to the beach.tThe tide pull was really strong and it knocked me down(,) flat on my face(.) iI also got sand in my mouth.]
